Philly spitter Veeay earned the Shiny Glass Houses cosign around the time his second tape, Speak Easy, dropped back in 2013. Without fail he’s back with a proper follow up, Pieces, and it’s top shelf dope once again. There’s a definite confidence glowing all over the project. The production features a Tribe-like jazz-era cool, yet skillfully manages to balance on the brink of new school turn up. Polo from the bucket to the socks, Veeay’s style counteracts his ever emerging craftsmanship. Big tings coming from the kid. Enjoy, and stay tuned for his upcoming interview over at Mishka NYC’s Bloglin.
