if you’ve heard “Billionaire” by Travie McCoy or “Nothing On You” by B.o.B you’ve heard the smooth sound of Bruno Mars. i want to compare this kid to a young michael, even though i know how unfair that is this early in his career.
he’s been behind the scenes writing with his production team the smeezingtons for a minute, but hold on because he’s here now. there’s something to be said for keeping songs simple, catchy and accessible. he sounds good and looks good doing it. call it a hunch, but this one’s gonna last.
check out the debut record Doo Wop & Hooligans and click below for my favorite track off the record “Liquor Store Blues” feat. Damian Marley. enjoy.
